Kid's Lunch Boxes

Do you get your child to make their own lunch box, night b4 school?

If so, what age did you start? And do you let them put what they want in their lunch box or do you tell them to what to put?

My older two sons (twins) started packing their own lunch this past year in 8th grade. They pretty much take the same things with variations each time so they know what to pack. Only one of them takes cold lunch daily and the other only takes it when the school has something he doesn't like.

Before last year I was staying home and I would make the lunches but this past school year I was working and I left for work 15 minutes before they left for school so I didn't have as much time and I think they are old enough to do it themselves anyway. My younger two sons get School Lunch every day so no lunch packing for them.
