There is a mouse in my Jeep! How is that possible?
I live in a condo in Phoenix Arizona. My soft-top Jeep Wrangler sits in the parking lot overnight. The top is zipped up, and the doors are closed. There are no holes anyplace in my Jeep. I have driven though water well above the bottoms of the doors, and over the tires, and the bottom never leaked.
I left a brand new box of crackers in the back seat yesterday. It was in a re-usable shopping bag. This morning the bag was chewed through in the corner. The box of crackers was chewed though. My crackers were violated.
How did it get into my Jeep? My Jeep has a 13” clearance. How is this possible?
Sorry about your crackers, man. Did you have the doors locked? 
There is probably a mouse sized access hole in the corners of where your back window zips in. If you've been swimming your Jeep without water getting in, I'm guessing all of your drain plugs are in and tight (hopefully you take car of your diff's and maybe transfer case and trans after these amphibious endeavors). There may be an open or loose plug in the firewall (like where the accelerator cable passes through or a wiring harness, or maybe your stereo antenna.)
Wait....it just came to me! Parking Brake. In my TJ, there is no rubber boot around the parking brake handle...it's just the bristles and then you are outside. I'm pretty sure the transfer case shifter is the same way. Good luck mouseproofing that!
The vent system may allow a way in too.
Get a trap. Glue traps are very effective, but kinda cruel. I like the plastic Pac-Man style traps that Victor makes. You can bait them with peanut butter (chewing gum works too) and because the bait/trigger is somewhat covered, it won't make a mess inside your Jeep. Plus they are reusable and easy to reset after false alarms. I wouldn't reccomend poison because, if it works, you maybe end up with a dead mouse SOMEWHERE in your Jeep...yay! Once you get rid of this mouse problem (you may have more than one), keep your food air tight (or out of the Jeep) so they don't have any incentive to come in.
