What is the best way to play arcade games like metal slug?
ok I like games like metal slug, street fighter and neo geo arcade games. I've used mame for some, but is there a better gaming experience, I know the wii has metal s as a game, is it the exact as the arcade version? Does wii also have other arcade games like neo geo? How about the playstation console
MAME is really the most advanced Arcade emulators that uses the original games rom chip. This means that it is just like the game you would play in an arcade. Even the midway classics offered on game consoles are not the same as the arcade they have been altered some what. You can get MAME for the WII and Xbox so you could play like the arcade versions but the ones offered like in the wii store, no. For the computer you could find the NEOGEO emulator just to play the NeoGeo games. NeoGeo was a arcade game maker then came out with a home console that used the cartridges that the actual arcade game used, so it was 100% accurate.
