How do I get rid of a putrid smell from my coffee travel mug?
I have tried leaving a diluted solution of vanilla imitation inside it over night, but I can smell both now. What else can I do?
Dump a healthy amount of baking soda into the cup and add just enough water to make a paste. Scrub the paste all around the cup ( I use my fingers to do this ) and then rinse. Then add some water to the cup and a splash of white vinegar. You can either let it sit for awhile with the vinegar water or you can just swish it and rinse. Your cup should be smelling sweet now.
